The Sovereign Call For the Church In America To Weep Between the Porch and the Altars – NOW IS THE TIME

May 17, 2026, is a threshold carved into the nexus of the human battleground by the Sovereign Hand of God. This appointment carries the weight of a sovereign-summons regarding the destiny of the Body of Christ and the very future of America.

Since judgment begins in the House of God (1 Pet 4:17), rededication—hard-core-repentance—must begin in the House of God as well. For we, the Community of the King, are the Gatekeepers of the spiritual climate of the very nation in which we, the ekklesia, dwell.

NOTE: This is NOT a political article.You may ask, then, how is the Sovereign Hand of God at work? To perceive and embrace how this Sovereign movement has pinpointed this peculiar Divine juncture—introducing us to the cuspice of a yoke linking us to May 17, 1776—I urge you to wrench and carve out 15-20 minutes of time. We must magnify the Sovereign-trajectory that has already commenced and will be “capstoned” on May 17.

This message is longer than my usual posts because the apocalyptic-entropy of our hour cannot be broken by brevity alone. I urge you to read on in sobriety of heart; this high-stakes demand warrants your endurance.

The Historical Defection

While there have been times of visitation from God over the past several decades, the last most significant move of God that constituted Revival was the Jesus People Movement. This revival not only brought in a huge harvest, it also produced a genuine condition of grace-manifested holiness that advanced the church toward a deeper conformity to the image of Christ (Rom 8:29). Authentic repentance (2 Cor 7:10), as a result of “reached-for” humility were the foundation to this powerful revival whose winds “currented” across the borders and the oceans to wheresoever they blew (Joh 3:8)!

However, as religion and selfish ambition sought to maintain and manage that revival – each for their own deceptive reasons – much has been lost since the final years of the decade of the 70s. Better to say, much has been left aside, as we divorced ourselves from a life of communion with God to embrace other loves. What has been lost – surrendered – is the spiritual climate in our country manifesting itself in the currents of violent assault through social and political apostasy. While much can and should be said here, we must realize this: We cannot cast all of the blame on a political party, Hollywood, the educational systems, or any other agency; the church through complacency, compromise, and apathy, is complicit (1 Pet 4:17). We, the salt of the earth (Mat 5:13), the ordained gate-keeper of the spiritual climate over our communities and nation (Eze 33:17), became a people of lost sheep, often under the leadership of lost shepherds, each going their own way (Jer 50:6).

Defection at the Gate & Societal Revolt

Our iniquities have abounded, and a worse type of sin manifested: the sin of embracing, nurturing, and fortifying forms of godliness (2 Tim 3:5) in the name of a Jesus (2 Cor 11:4) – though outside of Divine Accord through our union with Christ (Joh 15:5). Our own apostasy (1 Tim4:1), a gradual departure and defection where we slowly put away and divorced our first love (Rev 2:4-5) while breaking from and altering the “DNA” of the faith of Jesus (Jud 1:3) over the decades, resulted in a fall that left a vacuum for the demonic winds that lured us out of Christ to in turn seize our culture and mindset. Taking our schools, families, culture, and nation, our defection exposed the jugular-vulnerability, triggering a militant revolt such as we have never seen as the Enemy continues to storm our watch (Hab 2:1) with a fierce diabolical insurrection against not only the laws of God, but against God Himself with greater and greater ferocity.

The Garrison of Discernment: The Sons of Issachar

We have encroached upon an hour of darkness – within the Household of God as well as within society – whereby nothing less than genuine, seismic revival will suffice. This is a movement where we who are called by His name renounce the standards of our self-life, compromises, and “spiritual pretentiousness” and cry out for and press into a release of the Holy Spirit and fire of the same caliber as the historical Wesleyan Surge (circa 1739), the Second Great Awakening (circa 1801), the Camp Creek Outpouring (circa 1896), the Welsh Revival (circa 1904), and the Hebrides Awakening (circa 1949).

True revival extends beyond an established set of meetings. It reaches well beyond the four walls and awakens and transforms the lives of those who live in the local community. Historically, revival has meant Godly implications at national levels, bringing about change to a nation’s social, cultural, and political climates. I do not need to tell you, in America and throughout the world, a genuine revival is imperative in this hour. Consider the astonishing climate of aggression against everything that is of God that has manifested in America and throughout the nations – politics aside.

Like the sons of Issachar, there are those in the Body of Christ who recognize and discern the seasons and the times, knowing what to do (1 Chr 12:32). Let us be among them, for we have come into such an hour as this. Read on.

A Stratified Juncture: Destined By God

We have reached a unique and stratified juncture in time. This is a juncture destined by God in accordance with the prophetic pattern of the “fullness of times.”  First, consider this: Extremely key and irreducible prophetic events have erupted over the past 10 years – Sovereignly orchestrating as all the earmarks of a high-alert garrison for those who watch. This is an hour demanding our need to be sober – spiritually, physically, as well as our minds. This is an hour that we cast aside every intoxicant – whether spiritual or religious in nature, or drugs, alcohol, and any other stimulants. We must maintain vigilance and remain awake – alert to God’s Spirit.

Should God not pause the prophetic time-clock, we are approaching the days of tribulation and sorrow such as never experienced before. Already, we are witnessing the unveiling of delusions and actions that once were unimaginable! Jesus admonished, commanded, and warned us in such times as this to “watch” (Mar 13:37).

Are we seeing the budding of the trees, indicating that “summer is now near” (Luk 21:30 NKJV)? In our watch, we must look for and perceive the moments when God’s right hand of Sovereignty and intervention releases a sounding alarm – calling and confronting His people – confronting us, His church:  “Return to Me with all your heart, and with fasting, weeping and mourning; And rend your heart…” (Jol 2:12-13).  

The Prophetic Arena: The Gavel and the Altar

Several weeks ago, a never-before connection was internationally proclaimed and described by the most unlikely voice: a Jew. Not just “anyone” of the Jewish people, it was Prime Minister Netanyahu, a world leader, sharing with America – and thus the whole world – that Zion is comprised of both Jews and Christians. Understand the uniqueness of this moment: no one has ever made that assertion on the Global stage, let alone someone from Israel. Yet it is true.

Consider this still: In the wake of the Presidential Proclamation reconnecting Jerusalem to Israel as its capital back in December of 2017, God unveiled what was Providentially preserved in the earth for two millennia. He brought to surface a coin bearing inscriptions connecting Jerusalem with Israel as its capital from 2000 years ago, resolutely dispelling the contention concerning the ethnic rights to Jerusalem. Beloved, the arena is being set for the final hour in front of our very eyes…

But…

We need to “make ready.” Not for political activism. Not to rely on any political party. We must get right with God for the very iniquities – some of which many will resolutely contend to defend – that I have highlighted. It is time for an intervention from God. Such interventions erupt only through Revival, where we, His people, in unwavering and unreserved humility, strip ourselves from the Veneer of Piety in its many forms and fashions, repent, and are restored in holiness. Holiness defined by God: pressing forth toward the measure of the fullness of Christ that the Father desires, and living a life of oneness in Christ in Divine Accord, abiding under the authoritative will of the Father. The trumpet is sounding; Now is the time.

How do I know this? Aside from the fact that at the time a brother in the Lord shared the proclamation made earlier in this month of February regarding May 17, 2026, an alarm went off amidst the blasting of a trumpet inside my spirit: God is calling His church to deep repentance and for a “complete-heart” return to Jesus. I knew it as it resonated in the Spirit as God enabled discernment and discretion with a warning.

The 250-Year Yoke: The Terminal Call

This is not a victory lap, nor yet a time for celebration and rejoicing. We must rend our hearts in a way that – given the current state of the Church and our nation – most have never done before. You may ask, is it really this solemn? Yes, it really is this solemn, and even more so. This is a season for holiness – a holiness forfeited and rejected, and a holiness never yet attained.  And yet again, consider that never before has a call like this ever taken place from the highest office of this nation. Furthermore, the likelihood of it ever happening again is near zero. This is not about politics. It is about the Sovereign Voice of God reverberating this solemn proclamation. This moving of God’s Spirit is truly apocalyptic in the truest sense of the word. This is not another “doomsday” warning. We are experiencing the unveiling of a hidden reality: In the very hour the world shouts for “no Kings,” the King of Kings has sovereignly taken the political stage to issue a terminal call.

Throughout the history of the nations, there have been times God has often bypassed the pulpit, or even a prophet, to “speak” through the leader of the state. In this time of unparalleled apostasy – a time fueled by our own salt-less, selfish ambitions as the Father’s house of living stones has become silent and broken down, and the lamp of the Lord has grown dim behind our Veneer of Piety, the Father finds a different conduit: The Word of the true King of Kings has sovereignly spoken from behind the voice of a president in this divine anomaly – for the gate-keeper has lapsed away in surfeiting (Luk 21:34).

Earlier this month of February, a decree was made by the Oval Office to rededicate this nation to God. Trump declared May 17, 2026 for a National Day of Rededication. This date is appointed by Divine design. Why? This day resonates back in history to May 17, 1776. In so doing, this 250-year yoke from 2026 to 1776 dynamically reveals the nature of this rededication by reason of the original decree of that day by the Congress: A day unto “humiliation, fasting, and prayer.” This May, like that day in May of 1776, is Sovereignly revealed and declared as a day for repentance as we “confess and bewail our manifold sins and transgressions…to appease His righteous displeasure” as we pray and seek the face of God in our rededication to Him. When these two dates and events are prophetically yoked together, we clearly see what God is requiring from us in magnified volumes in this hour. In 1776, the requirement: Sincere repentance and amendment of life; In 2026 – rededicate our nation. This is a resounding trumpet call to God’s people – us, not the lost – that we seek God in a manner not before realized by this generation.

The Exponential Jubilee: Grace or Dispossession

And still yet, this yoke between the two May seventeenths is a 250-year yoking that spans a significant exponential Jubilee: 5 x 50 years between the occurrences of these two events in May. Inasmuch as this 5 x 50 cycle is a high-strata magnification concerning this prophetic timeline, the very international, cultural, and spiritual backdrops of this stratified Divine timeline reverberate with intensity that this Sovereign call must be taken to heart.

How?

The rending of our hearts as God commanded in Joel chapter 2, and in humiliation as that historic Congress declared. For us in this time – this hour – this is our pathway into this exponentialized Jubilee!

Understand, this multiplied Jubilee conjuncture carries the exponentially heavy weight of consequences. On one side, a revival and outpouring of prevailing Grace and God’s Spirit upon His people, further manifesting the Zoe-life of Christ in our hearts. God has extended a great promise to those who press into the Jubilee. Through the lens of Leviticus 25, we have a view of release – Grace for those of us who press through and align (Lev 25:10).

For those who do not? That pending consequence is the imminence of looming dispossession in two capacities for those who maintain themselves outside of Divine Accord (Lev 26:34-35). First, the Marxist, secular humanistic deconstructionism will mount as spirits of delusion and destruction prevail in our nation, society, and culture through the spiritual vacuum left by a nonresponsive gate-keeper – us, the church.

Furthermore, the second Divine verdict of dispossession concerning the warning of the land having rest serves as a testimony that the land of our inheritance, the Kingdom of God, as well, will cease striving with a people who are stiff-necked, proud, and driven by self-determined ambitions, including our self-driven religious ambitions – leaving us to our own devices and vices of spiritual pathology under the oppression of the Evil One. We will either be encountered with the prevailing Grace of God vital for the time and days ahead, or we will be among those who bear the name of Jesus yet having no oil in their hearts. The hour for our pretentious forms of godliness is past; the hour for the Sentinel of the Kingdom of Heaven is at hand.

The Summons: Between the Porch and The Altar

It is a pattern demonstrated by history that when true revival fire burns, it awakens those who are lost at various levels of society: Neighborhoods, communities, cities, regions, and even a nation will encounter a great Spiritual Awakening unto Jesus as a result of the current of such genuine Sovereign moves of God. A harvest can be reaped, and a society can be salted once again through the church, rich with the nature, character, and virtues of Christ. But we must heed the call…

What if we are standing at the tribulation door? What if this is a final window of outpouring? Or… what if there is a pause to the advance of the prophetic clock? There is much at stake. Let us beware that to even negotiate the “what-ifs” here is symptomatic of a deathly spiritual pathology!

There is in fact a two-fold apostasy that is “like the noise of a flaming fire that devours stubble, Like a strong people set in battle array” (Jol 2:6). On one hand in the community of the King where this apostasy first began as compromise, accelerating and morphing into a departure, a forfeiture, and a putting away of the virtues of Christ, to finally the displacing of the Holy Spirit with a strange spirit with its strange fire.

This made the spiritual gates of our society vulnerable to the exploits of the demonic hordes marching in “formation, and they do not break ranks” (Jol 2:7). We now witness the effects of this full assault upon not only the church – Zion – but also throughout the spectrums of our society and culture.

The Final Summons: Now is the Time

We have but one recourse: Now Is The Time to acknowledge and embrace The Sovereign Call For the Church In America To Weep Between the Porch and the Altars. He calls! He calls! “Turn to Me with all your heart, with fasting, with weeping, and with mourning” (Jol 2:12). We must rend our hearts and, as Daniel, pray in contrition and repentance for “we have sinned and committed iniquity, we have done wickedly and rebelled, even by departing from Your precepts and Your judgments” (Dan 9:5 NKJV). These next several weeks mark the season for the time for renouncing our condition in repentance and transformation as we seek the Face of God; Now is the Time to “return to Yahweh your God” (Jol 2:13 LSB) as we are rejoined in oneness with Christ and restored to Divine Accord.

Beloved, please share and spread this message. We will only find God’s victory for the troublesome times ahead as we seek His face and dwell under the shadow of His abiding Presence. Responding with all our hearts to this call will usher us there! I urge you to begin now. Humble yourself, seek His face in repentance, turn from our wicked ways – our veneer of piety must be ripped off and cast aside. On May 17, 2026, join those of us in the Body of Christ in making this day the capstone of our season of humiliation, repentance, and prayer as we seek God with all our heart. NOW IS THE TIME!
