Curently the Lord has commissioned me to Pastor at New Beginnings Worship Center (S-Cntrl MI) just outside of Albion, Michigan. We are a local expression of the Body of Christ (a community of believers) who are passionately determined to become like Christ. We are committed to praying for, edifying, and working with other communities of believers as all of us together make up the Body of Christ. We are also passionate about reaching the unchurched and introducing the lost to Jesus and leading them into discipleship, and raising up Christ-like leaders empowered and equipped to serve the Body of Christ according to the purposes and will of God. Jesus saved me just before I turned 13 years old. The experience was powerful and life changing! I had not grown up in church, but God drew me and there He introduced Himself to me in a very personal and profound way. In school I became known as the preacher-kid and actually preached my first message when I was 13. During my forming years I was richly blessed to be pastored and mentored by John C. Crank – a humble man devoted to earnest prayer who passionately loved Jesus.
I have spoken at many churches, and pastored for over 30 years now. Most importantly I am a brother in Christ committed to the building up of the Body of Christ at personal and organizational levels. God has given me a passion for His Church and I am committed to serving and leading through serving.
Recently the Lord has brought me into a few years of prayerful and intense spiritual growth. During this time He brought me to areas in my life that still needed repentance and a stripping away of the outer-man – that Adamic nature. God was working in me in a very intense way, forming a burning passion in me to become more like Jesus and creating a fervent desire in me to see the church step into the richness of His destiny for her betrothed in purity and simplicity of devotion to Christ and clothed in the power of the Holy Spirit.
The capstone of these years of intense renewal and preparation were met with my experience with Francis Frangipane’s (whom I had the joy to get to know several years ago) In Christ Image Training. God thoroughly charged me, ministered to me, and brought multiple confirmations and reaffirmations to me as the Holy Spirit ministered to me in abundance.
It is both my joy and burden to equip, encourage, exhort, comfort His church as well as correct, and rebuke when directed by His Spirit. It is my utmost desire to see each person discover their destiny in Christ and walk in it as they journey into the fulness of Christ.
The church’s greatest hour is ahead of us. We must prepare to see Jesus, and become committed to bring the substance of His Kingdom into the earth as we bring people to Christ and lead them into becoming like Jesus.
